On Weather
This is the first part that feels like a complete segment of rules. The rules in On Weather allow for the tracking of the weather the ship encounters over the course of its voyage.
There are two characteristics that are used for the weather: Wind and Weather. These are separate but interconnected factors that together inform the conditions as the ship travels across the sea. Each period of time represents half a week, and since the regular turns in the game are going to be a week long, there would be two checks of weather for each week of travel at sea.
Because this is a rough draft, some additional playtesting of these rules would be greatly appreciated. Simply set some initial conditions, and then track the weather for a 4 -5 week voyage to see how it works. Are these rules clear and understandable? Once you start going through the process, is it easy enough to follow the steps?
